Sneak Peek: Forever & Always

As my customers are receiving their new catalogs (I mailed out the January – June 2021 Mini Catalogs and Sale-a-Bration brochures last week), I’m hearing all of the “oohs” and “aahs” I expected. People are realizing how “in trouble” they are with all the amazing products in these catalogs. I have to admit the collection of products is outstanding – I can’t wait for you to see it all. I’m so excited, in fact, that I’ve started cutting into my papers and inking up my stamps.

Today I’m sharing a sneak peek look at a love-themed Bundle (Forever & Always) and GORGEOUS black-and-white paper (True Love Designer Series Paper) that are standouts in the Love You Always Suite. Here’s the card I made to showcase these products:

Always & Forever, Stampin Up!, Brian King

How beautiful are the elements on this card?! You are going to be well taken care of this Valentine’s Day. There are some really amazing options – from sophisticated products like the ones showcased on this card to sassy options and whimsical options. It’s appropriate that 2021 Mini Catalog would be filled with so much love – we need a lot of love these days, right?

I love, love, love black-and-white Designer Series Papers. I love that I can add a touch of color to the pages and dress them up in fun ways, but I didn’t do a think with this paper (other than cut it and layer it on my card). It’s THAT gorgeous. Here’s a closer look at the pages in the True Love Designer Series Paper:

True Love Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 154281You can bet I’ll be using this paper A LOT in the coming months. LOVE IT!

While the two panels on this card are pulled straight from the True Love Designer Series Paper, I added stamped and cropped flowers and a sentiment for the front of my card from the Always & Forever Bundle, which is perfect for Valentine’s Day and any upcoming weddings or anniversaries. Here’s a look at the Always & Forever Bundle:

Forever & Always Bundle, Stampin Up! 154281This bundle gives us two thin words – “love” and “always” and a shadow layer around each. The shadow layer can also be used to crop around the stamped sentiments in the set. I cropped “Always” with Basic Black cardstock and cropped the shadow layer with Blushing Bride. The soft pink offers softness against the black-and-white backdrop. Here’s a closer look:

The coordinating Always Dies also give us three thin strips with slanted edges (I love these!) that can be used to crop out a number of sentiments in the set. These are small additions that give us lots of fun options – rest assured I’ll be using them lots in the coming months.

I love how soft Blushing Bride looks against the black designs in the True Love Designer Series Paper. If you like this mix of Whisper White, Blushing Bride and Basic Black as much as I do, please save this for future reference:

I really love using shadow stamps. It seems to add soooooo much to the look of a card. Todays card is magnificent. I also love that the new catty isn’t in effect until January as the time after Christmas always seems to be a let down and the January catty is a great pick-me-up!

    • Thanks so much, Grace! I assure you your catalog will arrive soon – it was mailed out in the first batch I sent. You may want to hold on to it for a while before looking through it, though – it’s amazing and may make you impatient to get all of it. 🙂

  9. I don’t always gravitate toward “heart” type sets, but this set is amazing! The paper made me gasp! The stamp set and dies made me gasp harder. You’ve done a gorgeous job on this card, Brian. I am hoping to play a lot this weekend, and this is one set I’ll be playing with. Love your card!

    • I’m so happy to hear it. I made the same outburst when I first say this paper – a big gasp and grin. I love both of these bundles and can’t wait to break in the other one. Lots of great Valentine’s Day/love products in this catalog. Yay!
