Cute Tags with Penguin Place

If you’ve been reading my blog posts over the past two weeks, then you already know how excited I am about the August 3 release of Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2021 Mini Catalog and the simultaneous launch of the first August-September Sale-a-Bration. Yay!

Here’s a look at the cover of each of these amazing, new books (I will be able to share the entire catalogs online on August 3):

Stampin Up! July-December 2021 Mini Catalog, Brian King Stampin Up! August-September 2021 Sale-a-Bration brochure, Brian KingWhen I mailed catalogs to my customers, I included a little tag I made with three new products from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog – here’s the little tag I made:

Penguin Place Bundle, Candycanes, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christms tagHow cute is that little penguin?! As soon as I saw the Penguin Place Bundle, I knew I needed it – lucky for me, demonstrators have been able to pre-order items from the new catalog in July. Here’s a look at the Penguin Place Bundle, which includes the Penguin Place photopolymer stamp set and Penguin Builder punch:

Penguin Place Bundle, Stampin Up! 156789The largest cutout gives you the body of the penguin, and the cutout beside it gives you the penguin’s belly and face. I punched the body with Basic Black cardstock and the belly and face with Basic White. I stamped the eyes and beak. I stamped the little hat with Shaded Spruce and cut them out with my Brother Scan-n-Cut (I only use that for images that don’t have a coordinating punch and/or die). Either way, the little penguins are adorable, right?!

The base of my tags is cropped from Polished Pink with one of the dies in the Seasonal Labels Dies, part of the Christmas Season Bundle. Here’s a look at this bundle that’s new in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2021 Mini Catalog:

Christmas Season Bundle, Stampin Up! 156801I stamped the Candy Canes Background stamp on Polished Pink cardstock with Polished Pink ink before cropping the tag bases with the Seasonal Labels Die above. The pink base and pink candies were an unexpected color for the seasonal tag, don’t you think? Here’s a look at the Candy Canes Background stamp, new in the July-December 20201 Mini Catalog:

Candy Canes Background, Stampin Up! 156373The sentiment on the tag is from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog – it was the perfect size of my sweet tag. penguin tags. I attached the tags to my wish lists and Crown Rewards Program forms and an ad for the Designer Series Paper Sale to send with my catalogs:

Penguin Place Bundle, Candycanes, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christms tagWhen I made a lot of one thing, I like to line them up and take an “infinity shot” – here’s an infinity shot of my adorable penguin tags:

Penguin Place Bundle, Candycanes, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christms tagThere are so many ways to build a sweet penguin – I hope you like this example of one way to build him.

I have a couple of these guys left over – if you are my customer and haven’t received your catalogs, please reach out to me now (click here). If you do not have a demonstrator or would like to be my customer, please reach out to me today (click here).

    • Thank you so much, Marilyn! When I set out to make a lot of something, I’m almost as excited about the infinity as the project. These took a while, but they were fun to make. Glad you like them! β™₯

  6. You know I love your infinity shots! I imagine there must be a team of elves who magically appear in the night to put all those together! They are adorable! Love the unexpected Polished Pink. Enjoy your day, my friend.

    • No elves, but these were not assembled at once – a week or more of little tasks once I had the tag designed. Glad you like it, Hilda! β™₯

  7. Seriously Brian…….SO CUTE!

  8. Adorable tags and product combo! Getting annoyed that you and others are making these penguins look so cute that I might have to cave on the bundle and I don’t want to!

  9. I completely ignored this bundle in the catalog! So now I’m up to 2 pages of stuff to order. Your penguin tag was just too, too cute to be ignored. Now I have to have it!!!!

  11. Mr. Brian! Your clock of penguin tags is going to sell that bundle, I’m sure. I also wanted to ask if you would tell your mom one of her fans enjoyed her video on the new kits we have, she’s such a good sort and positively adorable. Thanks so much for sharing.
