I’m a little hooked on slimline cards – I adore the long, slender shape that allows me to showcase more stamped patterns, big sentiments or Designer Series Papers. While Stampin’ Up! has some incredible dies to build slimline cards (you can see my project here with the Slim Card Dies), today’s project includes a favorite pair of sentiment dies and a Sale-a-Bration paper that can’t be overlooked. Here’s my slimline card:
How gorgeous is this large panel of flowers from the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper?! It’s a classic beauty, but there are so many other great pages in this pack of papers! Daffodil Afternoon can be selected for free with a $50 order between now and February 28 (or while supplies last) – don’t miss out! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper:
I layered three strips of paper from the pack in the bottom, right corner of my card to ground my sentiment. Before loosely gluing them down, I broke some of the fibers in the paper with my bone folder. Here’s a closer look at my sentiment on this card:
The sentiment is built with two dies in the Amazing Thanks Dies, new in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. I love these dies so, so much! The base of my “thanks” is cropped from Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, and the thin “thanks” is cropped from Mossy Meadow cardstock. Here’s a look at the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle, which includes the Amazing Thanks Dies:
There are some really great colors in the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, but it’s the combination of Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow that seems so retro-cool to me. If you like this mix of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Papers: Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, Thick Very Vanilla Accessories: Amazing Thanks Dies, bone folder, Classic Matte Dots, Mini Stampin Dimensionals

Such a lovely slim card! Great combo with this paper and the dies!
This card is dynamite – it looks so complicated but is so simple. People would think you spent hours making it – well, maybe you did. Love it Brian.
Very nice work showcasing of DSP. I swore I wasn’t jumping on the slimline band wagon but I recently did. Now I’m in the same boat as you. Can’t get enough.
I HAD to comment on your card Brian, it is so beautiful, of course as a Welsh girl I love the daffodils (Our National Flower). Love the slimline design, shows them off so well.
I’m with you on slimline cards, & love today’s!
