Best Day for a Rainbow Treat Box

I’m so happy to share a super-simple, but oh-so-adorable, project with you today. A sweet gift box, adorned with a rainbow and a sweet sentiment, can perfectly house a small gift for so many occasions – birthdays, baby showers, graduations and other celebrations. There are so many products in this small treat box that I’m excited to share, but I am also sharing a crucial tip for the perfect lineup of your rainbow dies. Did that grab your attention?! I hope so. Let’s start with the treat box I’ve designed for you:

Brilliant Rainbow Dies, Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper, Sweet Little Boxes, Stampin Up!, Brian KingCute, right?! The four rainbow arches and pair of clouds are cropped with the Brilliant Rainbow Dies, part of the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. Love! This bundle has been VERY POPULAR with my customers – likely my most-sold bundle in the new mini catalog. It’s also been very popular with other customers – so much so that the dies are currently sold out and unorderable while more are shipped to Stampin’ Up!. Here’s a look at the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, which also includes the Rainbow of Happiness photopolymer stamp set:

Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, Stampin Up! 157727If you have recently passed over the Sweet Little Boxes (since they are showcased in the Valentine’s Day suite), I hope you’ll take another look. They are SO SIMPLE to assemble (just pull the adhesive strips off the box to adhere the panels), and they are versatile to be used outside of Valentine’s Day. While you could fill these boxes with little candies or trinkets, a check or cash can fold up nicely inside for a wonderful surprise. Here’s a look at the Sweet Little Boxes:

The Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper (found on page 23 of the Mini Catalog) is one of those items – you can’t possibly see the beautiful, shine in this paper until you hold it in your hand. I cropped the clouds on my treat box with the Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper and did my best to showcase it here:

The base is the 7th pattern on the top row, and the arches are from the 5th pattern on the bottom row below:

If you plan to order the Brilliant Rainbow Dies when they are back in stock (and you should!), then you are going to wish you had picked up this paper when it was available. Don’t miss out! ♥

Perfect Placement

The rainbow die lines up perfectly on the panel of rainbows in the Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Here’s a tip for perfectly lining up the bands on your project after they’ve been cropped:

Crop a template from scrap cardstock or keep the cropped rainbow from the Designer Series Paper. Position that template on your project and secure with Post-it Tape. Squeeze tiny strips of glue inside each arch and glue in the cropped piece. Once they’ve all been added, remove your template and toss it or use it again.

This photo shows a rainbow from the Designer Series Paper, a template I cropped from cardstock, the template remaining after the arches are cropped and the die used to crop the arches:
