Thank You with He’s The Man Specialty Designer Series Paper

I’ve made  a simple, but layered, card to share with you today. With neutral tones and fun patterns, this is a perfect thank you card for the man in your life. The simple layout, though, can be used to build a card for anyone. Not every man would love to receive this card (I like brighter, bolder colors), and not every woman would be upset to receive it (neutrals are for everyone). Still I used for patterns from the He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper to build it and a die from the coordinating set. Here’s my card:

Good Feelings, He's the Man Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King, masculine thank you cardI’m going to let you know right now – the rest of this post is about showcasing the new products I used to build this card. There will be some tips and tricks peppered in, but I’m mostly glowing about the new products I am playing with. Yay!

My card features four patterns from the He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper. Not only does this pack of paper include pages centered around style, card, camping and barbecuing, but there are two pages of punch-out images included in the pack. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this incredible pack of papers (you can click on the image below to tab through these pages in my online store, including the punch-out pages showcased as the front panel):

He's the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 159068I used the last two patterns on the top line above to create the backdrop for the focal point on my card. The torn-edges, ripped paper is punched from the first page on the top row, and the Cajun Craze, striped strip is pulled from the second page above. How fun it was to play with these neutral, regal tones.

The scripty, fun “thank you!” at the center of this card is stamped with Early Espresso on Sahara Sand with the Good Feelings stamp set. I love, love, love this set! Here’s a look:

Good Feelings Cling Stamp Set, Stampin Up! 158737I cropped the “thank you” with another new product from Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog – the Decorative Circle Punch. The wavy-edged circle measures approximately 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″. The wavy edges looked great with the torn edges of the paper I showcased on my card. Here’s a look at the Decorative Circle Punch:

Decorative Circle Punch, Stampin Up! 159174One more new thing to showcase – I cropped the Early Espresso argyle pattern that peeks out from under the Decorative Circle Punch cutout. The All That Dies feature some wonderful, all-purpose shapes. You need these! Even if you aren’t excited by the sentiments in the He’s All That stamp set, you can get 10% off when you buy the stamp set and dies together. Good deal! Here’s a look at the He’s All That Bundle:

    Morning, Brian!
Thank you for spotlighting this bundle and accessories.
I certainly need to have more “man-themed” cards on hand.
This seems like a great new option.

  6. Impressive use of pattern play DSP and that unique punch-out page of images. (Pity there’s not an entire sheet of those ripped out notebook pages in the collection…) Really strong card design ~ love it! ❤️

Your card makes me want everything you made it with and none of it was on my radar at all. Thanks I think?
