New Core Colors

Earlier this month, I shared the four new colors that have been added to Stampin’ Up! core colors in the upcoming 2023 Annual Catalog (these four beauties have bypassed the In Color path and have gone straight to the color families) as a part of Stampin’ Up!’s amazing Color Refresh. Here are the four new core colors:

Azure Afternoon

Today I’m sharing a little more about Azure Afternoon – first, let’s take another look at this vibrant blue color that’s now a part of our Brights Core Colors:

If you’ve ever looked into the sky on a bright, sunny day, you are already familiar with this gorgeous blue color. Azure Afternoon is bright blue with a touch of turquoise, and it’s certain to be a favorite from the Brights Collection. Here’s a comparison of Azure Afternoon with two other familiar colors – Tempting Turquoise (a retired Core Color) and Tahitian Tide (a 2022-2024 In Color):

Maybe there’s more blue in Azure Afternoon than I originally anticipated. Regardless, it’s bright and happy!

3 Azure Afternoon Color Combinations

Azure Afternoon plays well with a wide variety of colors and colors in other color families. Here are three color combinations with Azure Afternoon that show just how versatile it can be:
