Yesterday I shared the little gift boxes I decorated for some of my awesome team members – if you missed that post, you can see it here. I wasn’t sure the accompanying 3″ x 3″ cards would be enough for a full post, but they are just so dang cute that I couldn’t tack them at the bottom of that post about the boxes. 🙂
Here’s a look at the pair of cards that were tucked inside these boxes with a little gift:
While the front of the box showcases Pretty Peacock (with Very Vanilla and Gold Foil), the cards inside celebrate the gorgeous, rich color. Pretty Peacock was an In Color between 2019 and 2021. I was sad to see it go away in 2021, but … I was thrilled to welcome it’s return in 2023. Yay!
The front of the Pretty Peacock base is covered with a weathered design from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper. I used the last page in the bottom row. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this gorgeous pack of papers:
The Layering Leaves stamp set provides a great sentiment and leaves for my card. When I first saw this stamp set, I wasn’t sure when someone would say “happy to celebrate you” – but this recognition gift gave me the perfect opportunity to use it. Here’s a look at the Layering Leaves stamp set:
The set coordinated with the Bough Punch to crop the leaves in the set. Both are available in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog. I cropped my sentiment with the new Modern Oval Punch, new in Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog. I love the shape (and it fit perfectly on this 3″ x 3″ card). While the punch can be purchased separately from the stamp set, they can both be purchased at a bundled discount (and why wouldn’t you want both?!). Here’s a look at the Modern Garden Bundle:
I added three Pretty Peacock sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio for a little extra shine (and a little more Pretty Peacock). Can’t go wrong with that! These cards are super-simple, but I think they are super-sweet. I always feel accomplished when I can pull products from a variety of suites to make a sweet project. I hope you like these simple cards.
