For last weekend’s OnStage@Home event (for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators), demonstrators were able to pre-order some items from the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog (the Spring Mini). How lucky we were to be able to play with some new product, including products from the Bee Mine Suite Collection! It’s so adorable! Here’s a card I made with this new bundle and Designer Series Paper:
A couple of weeks ago, I dreamed up a card with a large circle that creates the front of the card – you can see that card here. I was so happy with that card that my mind starting spinning about how I could make TWO flaps for the front of a card. That’s how this card was born. Before I show you how the card opens up, I want to show you some of the upcoming products I used to make it. Here’s a look at the Bee Mine Suite Collection, new in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2024 Mini Catalog:

How cute is that?! As with many Designer Series Papers, this pack includes a mix of themed images (bees, flowers and honey) and versatile patterns in a gorgeous mix of colors. Love it!
My card starts with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ base (Real Red), a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ layer (Basic White) and a 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer (Petal Pink). I cropped two circles from the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper (approximately 4″ each) and tucked them between the Basic White and Petal Pink panels. I staggered the circles so they would overlap. Here’s how the first circle opens:
Underneath the first circle, I hid a little bee (hand-snipped from the Designer Series Paper) with a heart punched from the coordinating Bee Builder punch. Here’s a look at the little guy inside the first flap:
The second flap opens in the opposite direction to reveal the sentiment inside. “Happy Valentine’s Day” is the perfect saying to coordinate with the one on the front of the card. Here’s a look:
While my card features products from a new suite in the upcoming catalog, it also showcases a favorite from the July-December 2023 Mini Catalog – the Deckled Rectangles.
