When a pack of Designer Series Papers features gorgeous, water colored scenes of beautiful flowers and soft skylines, a card maker only has to frame the paper to showcase its beauty. There are so many great ways to highlight and showcase the pages in the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, but a large panel of a single design is my favorite. Here’s a simple card I made with the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, a new pack of papers in Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives:
My card features TWO prints from the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – the scene at the heart of the card is the ninth pattern on the bottom row of the graphic below and the Pecan Pie frame (with wood grain textures) is the second pattern on the top row. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:

With the Radiating Stitches Dies, another Online Exclusive that was released earlier this year, I framed the sweet scene from the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. To create the frame, I ran the largest frame with the second largest die in the center) through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. So easy! Here’s a closer look at the stitches on the frame:
Here’s a look at the Radiating Stitches Dies (these dies are currently unorderable, but a new shipment it scheduled to arrive in mid-December):
I mounted my framed artwork on a Misty Moonlight card base. While the pack of papers lists Night of Navy as the dark blue in the pack, the watercolored images pair well with Misty Moonlight. I added a Melon Mambo heart from the Give it a Whirl Dies to coordinate with the field’s flowers. The sentiment from Cheerful Daisies is stamped with Garden Green to coordinate with the grass and leaves inside the frame. I added three small, Garden Green pearls from the Blooming Pearls.
Any mix of red, blue and green is a winner! The red-blue-green combination I used on this card pulls colors from three Stampin’ Up!’s color families – Melon Mambo is a Brights tone, Misty Moonlight is a Neutrals tone and Garden Green is a Regals tone. Together, they are amazing! If you like this mix of Melon Mambo, Misty Moonlight and Garden Green as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
