6 Special Celebratory Cards from Special Friends

In January I reached a huge milestone in my Stampin’ Up! career – less than 1% of demonstrators reach $1,000,000 in sales, so I am honored to be a part of a small group of incredible people. I received so many kind messages – text messages, phone calls, Facebook comments, emails and comments here on my blog. Thank you to everyone who reached out and helped to make my accomplish feel that much more special. I appreciate you all!

I have accumulated quite a few amazing cards over the past month, and I’m excited to share six of them with you today. Here’s a look at six special cards I received from six wonderful friends:

Six Celebration Cards, Stampin' Up!

You can’t imagine how happy I was to open each of these beauties! I’m excited to give you a closer look at each with a few quick comments about the products used in each.

from Leigh Wheeler

Leigh built a beautiful backdrop for the fireworks from the retired Light the Sky stamp set. I love the beautiful mix of Night of Navy and Berry Burst in the design. She added lots of sparkle with embossed fireworks and embellishments. The “WOO HOO” sentiment from a retired Sale-a-Bration stamp set (Amazing Phrases) is the cherry on this piece of celebratory cake. Here’s a look at her card:

by Victoria Heinecke

I’m a sucker for the adorable seagulls in this past year’s Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Friendly Seagulls. The seagull on Victoria’s card caught my eye and made me smile as soon as I opened it. The “celebrate” die cut from Celebrate You Dies (also retired) is one of my all-time favorites, so I was happy to see it here. I was also happy to see that she’ll be bringing the french fries. Yum!

by Pam Morris

Pam is my Stampin’ Up! upline – I joined under her 13 years ago and haven’t looked back once. Pam and I always cut up together, which makes it difficult to sit with her in a serious seminar or presentation. Pam’s congratulations card was the first to arrive in the mail, and I couldn’t love it more. She carefully positioned the numbers from the Alphabet a la Mode Dies on a shiny piece of silver foil and added sequin confetti (that I love because I didn’t have to clean it up off the floor after the celebration). Here’s the shiny card Pam made for me:

by Karen Carvell

Karen is a Canadian demonstrator from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I have never met Karen, so I was really surprised to receive such a lovely card from her. Much like Pam’s card, Karen used dies to build “1,000,000” on the front of the card she sent. Karen used the Birthday Celebration Dies. Love! Her card also features a Daffodil Delight strip from the Beautiful Bokeh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I love the mix of colors! Here’s a look at the card Karen sent to me:

by Traci Davis

I can always count on my friend, Traci, to design and send a special card. Traci’s celebratory card builds a sentiment with the retired Playful Alphabet Dies and strips of the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. She strung together three partial circles to complete the phrase. How fun is this card from Traci?

by Marilyn Jones

Like Traci, Marilyn used the retired Playful Alphabet Dies to build a unique sentiment on the card she made for me. Marilyn is a member of my InKing Royalty team – she shares a lot of her creations in our Facebook group – it’s easy to see why she’s so beloved in the group. I wouldn’t bestow this title “King of Ink” on myself, but I think I love it! 🙂

I loved receiving each and every one of these cards – and I have more to share with you. Several of these are very specific (not many people you could send a “King of Ink” card to, but the design and mix of products is still inspiring. I hope these celebratory and fun cards inspire you as much as they have inspired me.

Thanks for stopping by today!
