While many of my friends and team members are having the time of their lives at OnStage in Raleigh (Stampin’ Up!’s convention), I’m at home. I was wait-listed on the first day of registration for the event and didn’t get in. I’m in a good place with my exclusion because there’s a lot going on as I wrap up my career job over the next two weeks. There will be more years.
Even thought I am not in Raleigh to celebrate the new catalog with my InKing Royalty team members, I sent little gifties via my personal courier (my awesome upline, Pam, dropped by to pick them up on her way to the airport). I love my awesome team members and love to remind them how awesome they are. This sentiment from Memorable Blooms stamp set gave me the perfect start to a beautiful tag:
Here’s a look at the Memorable Blooms Bundle, which features the dies I showcased on Wednesday (you can see that post here) and this incredible sentiment:
The Wild Wheat leaves on my tag are stamped with the Textured Notes stamp set, and the outer panel of the tag features a rectangle die from the new Textured Notes Bundle. Here’s a look at this newly released (and must have) bundle:
I couldn’t go overboard on the gifts I was sending with Pam – she needed to be able to stack them in her suitcase for her travels to Raleigh. I wrapped the small gifts with Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper. Each gift gobbled up a full 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper, but I wasn’t upset because each one was perfectly beautiful. Here’s a look at three of the wrapped gifts to show you how beautifully wrapped the gifts are and how perfectly coordinated the tags are:
Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper:
And closeup of two of the tags on the beautiful papers:
My camera does not grab the green tones in Lost Lagoon, but it’s really beautiful in these papers. I love how Lost Lagoon plays with Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat. If you love this color combination as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Bundles: Textured Notes Bundle Stamps: Memorable Blooms, Textured Notes Papers: Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper, Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Very Vanilla Inks: Pretty Peacock, Wild Wheat Accessories: Textured Notes Dies

Great wrapping, Brian. I love to wrap. When Macy’s offered this service at Christmas time, I always wanted to work there. Was I crazy??
Hi Brian
Your tags & the DSP you wrapped your gifts in are stunning! I’m sure they will love them! I bought a pack of the DSP because of the color combinations! You have given me an idea where to start! Thanks for sharing your ideas and inspiration with us!
Ahhhhh, awesome upline and lucky team!
That paper….
Who would want to unwrap those gorgeous packages?!?
(When I saw the photo of the tag before I read anything, I thought, “Wait” [recognizing the Textured Notes stamp]—“Is that the tag from our Super Awesome kit this time?!) Tease!
You are a generous team King—way past “leader”
Sorry you missed OnStage—there must be lots of us on what probably was a 500 page wait list. As you said…another year.
Great wrapping and gift tag. You are awesome, Brian!
Your gift was perfect, and I loved the DSP and special tag. It was a busy and fun few days in Raleigh, and I’m just recovering from being a sloth when I got home to someone with some energy today. Being a hobbyist is a good place to be when OnStage is so close to home. Two of my stamping friends and I had a fun experience on Amtrak. I had no time to check my emails. I’m happy to be catching up today. Thanks again for the lovely surprise and it was my chance to meet Pam.
Enjoy your day!
