Bundles were at the top of my personal wish list for the FREE SHIPPING promotion. I picked up three new bundles with my personal order (and restocked on Stampin’ Blends and cutting plates). I also took a quick inventory of my Designer Series Papers to refresh my current stash. To inspire you to take another look, I made this super-sweet (and super-easy) Halloween card:
The two panels on my card, the mummified hippopotamus and the sprinkles of candy corn are all pulled from Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper (the cosplay hippo and candy are punchouts from the papers. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper:
And here’s a closer look at the page of punch-outs (each pack of the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper includes two pages of this punch-out design):
Fun, right? From the day I first saw this paper, I knew I wanted to design with this hippo – she’s adorable! I used a Small Blending Brush to add a little Petunia Pop ink to the white-and-orange panel behind my barrel-shaped beauty and then added the sentiment on a 1″ strip of the uninked paper. I love how it turned out! Here’s a closer look:
I love the whimsical water-pig, but I also love the sentiment “No Tricks. All Treats.” that pairs perfectly with my costumed friend. I was planning to showcase “Don’t Worry. Eat Sweets.” (which I also love), but this alternative saying was perfect! Both sentiments are found in the Spooky Halloween stamp set:
If you like to make Halloween treats for your coworkers or neighborhood trick-or-treaters, this pack of papers is a gem! The punchouts are adorable – and there are other pages in the pack with cute, costumed creatures. Today is a great time to stock up on these Halloween treats – with the extra treat of free shipping. ♥

Hi Brian
What a cute , whimsical Halloween card ! I like that this DSP has both classic sheets and Halloween themed sheets. Very versatile!
I’m really impressed with this paper, too. One pack of this paper can give you everything you need for all of your Halloween projects (but some of the bundles are nice to have, too). 🙂 Thanks, Dawn!
This card is positively adorable! I’m glad I participated in your product shares-they are a great way to sample paper and other goodies and all this was in my treat bag!
Happy Friday!
Yay! Happy you participated, too! It’s fun to have a little bit of everything with the shares. ♥
Nothing like a mummified hippo to make you smile in the morning…./😊
She’s adorable, isn’t she? 🙂
