Brian’s Week in Review: January 11, 2026

Brian's Week in ReviewWelcome to my Week in Review! Each Sunday, I like to share a quick recap for those who don’t follow along every day—and a little extra behind-the-scenes for those who do. You don’t want to miss these extras! ♥

A Busy, Busy Week

I have zero personal tales to share this week as my week has been dedicated to three things: the release of the new catalog, sorting product shares and preparing a Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit. The shares and kits will be mailed out early next week, so perhaps I can reboot my social card next week?

On that note, I want to share some pictures of the Designer Series Paper Swatch Books I made from this week’s new release. I’ve cut, labeled and assembled SO MANY of these books for the shares orders and will soon have more to offer for those who didn’t order ahead:

Designer Series Paper Swatch Books, 2026 Spring Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives, Stampin' Up!, Brian King Designer Series Paper Swatch Books, 2026 Spring Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives, Stampin' Up!, Brian King Designer Series Paper Swatch Books, 2026 Spring Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives, Stampin' Up!, Brian King Designer Series Paper Swatch Books, 2026 Spring Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

The books are an excellent reference tool for me – the pages are staggered for easy flipping, and the colors are all listed on the back. I love my set of books and am happy to offer them to others who use them in their business or in their craft rooms.

Back to My Week in Review

Here’s a look at the projects I shared with you this week (don’t miss the bonus add-ins) …

Monday

Monday was the day before Stampin’ Up!’s launch of it’s 2026 Spring Mini Catalog and accompanying Online Exclusives. Because I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss the deadlines for product shares and Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit signups, I gave you a rundown of the things you needed to know on Monday and what to expect on Tuesday.

Among the good news I shared (that are still good today) are:

  • Bonus Days are back – earn a $5 coupon for every $50 you spend between January 6 and February 2.
  • New Product of the Month – January’s Product of the Month can be selected for $5 with a $75 order in January. Here’s a look at the new stamp set:

Tuesday

Tuesday marked the release of Stampin’ Up!’s new Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives. In my post I shared a look at the suites in the new offerings. Such fun!

Wednesday

On Wednesday I shared a look at all ELEVEN of the incredible, new Designer Series Papers in the new offerings from Tuesday. I walked you through the colors and patterns in each pack and shared my favorite page and a favorite color combination from each pack.

This is not going to be a surprise to anyone who knows me, but this page just might be my favorite of all the designs in the new offering:

design from Nature Walk Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!Not only does this page from the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper offer a beautiful pattern, but the blue-green tones are my favorites.

Thursday

The rest of the week is filled with flowers – I just couldn’t stay away from flowers. Here’s the card I shared with you on Thursday that showcases the new Fragrant Layers Bundle:

Fragrant Layers Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingThe card features a mix of bright, soft and rich colors that I love so much. It’s been a while since I played with Coastal Cabana, and I was so happy to pair it with Daffodil Delight and Secret Sea.

Bonus Combination. I shared that color combination in Thursday’s post, but it missed another color combination from the card that made me happy. Inside the Secret Sea frame, the flowers, flower centers and leaves are build with this fresh color combination of bright and rich tones:

Friday

I wasn’t done with the Fragrant Layers Bundle yet – here’s the same die with a completely different look that I love so much:

Saturday

Saturday was Mom’s birthday, and I shared the special card I made for her. Here’s a look:

The card is designed with the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper and images from the Simply Beautiful Bundle and Lovely & Beautiful Bundle. It’s all positioned on an oversized, long, thin card.

Thank you for all the well wishes you left for Mom on my blog and on my Facebook post. You are really so sweet. We Facetimed with Mom to sing Happy Birthday to her. She was headed to a small get-together at my brother’s house – sad we couldn’t be there.

Lots of fun planned for the coming week. In coordination with the launch of the new catalog and Online Exclusives, I’ll share closer looks at the new products and some new projects with these goodies.

I hope you’ll come back every day. ♥
