There’s no rest for the weary. With the October, November, and December holidays behind us, we are already fast approaching Valentine’s Day. I’m excited to share a patchwork card I designed using new Valentine’s Day products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2026 Spring Mini Catalog, along with a few goodies you might already have on hand. Here’s the card I made to share with you today:
My card features a sentiment built with the Endless Love Stamp Set and Mini Alphabet Dies (more on those later). The real star of the show, though, just might be the six panels of Made with Love Designer Series Paper that create the patchwork backdrop for the sentiment. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns included in the Made with Love Designer Series Paper:
As I mentioned above, the “SENDING YOU” portion of the sentiment is stamped with the Endless Love Stamp Set, while the die-cut, floating hearts are cropped using the coordinating dies.
Here’s a look at the Endless Love Bundle:
The word “LOVE” is also included in the Endless Love Stamp Set, but the font happens to match the Mini Alphabet Dies perfectly – so why not finish the sentiment with die-cut letters? I ran the large alphabet die through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine once with Poppy Parade cardstock and again with Foam Adhesive Sheets to give the letters a little lift.
Here’s a closer look at the popped-up letters on my card:
And here’s a look at the Mini Alphabet Dies I used to crop the word:
The Mini Alphabet Dies set include three dies – here’s a look at all of them together:
I’m going to play with this same patchwork pattern for a card I’ll be sharing tomorrow (and I’ll share my measurements then, too). For today, though, I want to take a closer look at the pinks and reds in the Made with Love Designer Series Paper. Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Real Red, and Strawberry Slush create a brilliant mix of Valentine-ready colors.
I embraced the combination of Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, and Poppy Parade on this card – and if you like this mix as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Last Thoughts
This patchwork layout is such a fun way to showcase patterned paper, and it’s a great reminder that mixing pinks and reds doesn’t have to feel intimidating. With the right balance, the result is playful, bold, and perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Be sure to stop back tomorrow for another take on this same layout – complete with measurements so you can try it yourself.

Hi Brian
A great Valentine’s Day card! Love the balance of the design with the various paper pieces! I’m also excited for your measurements and card design tomorrow!
Thanks, Dawn! I was happy with how this one turned out. So glad you like it. ♥
Oh yes, Valentine’ Day is just around the corner! This card reminds me of a warm and cozy quilt. The same feeling a card should give! Thank you for sharing this
Great idea!
I like that comparison! Thanks, Barbara! ♥
Love this. Great selection of DSP. As soon as I get my paper shares, I am going to do this.
They are on the way, Donna! I know you’re going to love them – so many great papers in this new catalog. ♥ Thanks!
Such a great card. Love how you show off this wonderful DSP.
Thanks, Wendie! The gorgeous, coordinated papers really helped me out here. 🙂
Your quilting gene kicked in for today’s card, I see. Love it! Never would I ever have attempted that! But you ARE the King of paper. And now fonts- I knew it looked familiar!
Thanks, Cindie! It was more of a mathematical game that played into my accounting mind – but I love to think Mom has passed the “quilting gene” to me. 🙂
Wow! This card is adorable! I love the patchwork DSP pieces. Very nice! Enjoy your day!
Thanks so much, Hilda! So happy you like it. ♥
Love the card. Would you share the measurements?
Thanks, Penny! The measurements (and a little graphic) are shared on the next day’s post – you can see it here: https://stampwithbrian.com/2026/01/13/happy-birthday-with-beach-boardwalk-designer-series-paper/
