On Saturday, I hosted my monthly Zoom call with my Paper Pumpkin customers. During our Pumpkin in the Fungeon calls, I share fun ideas with the items included in the monthly kit, and my customers share their brilliant ideas. I’m always so impressed by what others are making—and I wish I could bottle the joy of these calls to share with you. They are always such fun!
The Special Delivery Paper Pumpkin Kit is designed to create nine love-filled, floral cards – perfect for Valentine’s Day. The projects are easy to assemble exactly as designed, but as you might expect, we always like to play with the elements to see what else we can make with them.
More About The Kit
The cards in January’s kit come together beautifully right out of the box – no changes required to create cards you’d be proud to send to friends and family. Here’s a look at the finished projects as designed:
I love the variety included in this kit. From the punch-out flowers to the coordinating stamps, each card design feels unique. Here’s a look at the stamp set that came with the kit:
This is exactly the kind of stamp set I love adding to my collection each month – versatile, timeless, and one I know I’ll reach for again and again.
Alternative Project
On Friday, I shared a fun floral card I made using the Pop-Up Petals Bundle. If you missed it, you can see it here. I mentioned that I’d soon share a card that shows how the dies are used to create a pop-up element inside the card – and it just so happens I had already made one for my Pumpkin in the Fungeon call. I’m excited to share it with you today.
As lovely as the as-designed projects in this kit are, I also created several alternative cards using the kit elements for Saturday’s call. This is one of the projects I showcased:
I added a Strawberry Slush panel from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper (from the Spring Mini Catalog) to the front of the Bubble Bath card base included in the kit. I decorated the front with flowers, leaves, and a sentiment from the kit. It’s pretty – but the real magic happens on the inside.
I added a white card base inside the larger Bubble Bath base. Before assembling, I used the Pop-Up Petals Dies to cut a pop-up panel into the smaller base. This allowed me to mount the postage stamp, flowers, and sentiment from the kit. The vase comes from the Pop-Up Petals stamp set and is stamped in Strawberry Slush.
Here’s a closer look at how the flower vase is mounted inside the card:
These dies were such a joy to work with, and the flowers from the kit paired perfectly with the vase and pop-up elements.
Here’s a look at the Pop-Up Petals Bundle:
The two dies that look like little doors are the ones that create the pop-up element inside the card base – such a clever design!
The recipient of this card will enjoy the front – it’s lovely – but they’re going to be absolutely WOW’d when they open it. I can’t wait to share it!
There’s More!
Each quarter, Stampin’ Up! releases a special set of exclusive dies just for Paper Pumpkin subscribers – available for only $13. Here’s the die set that coordinates with the January–March 2026 kits, along with a sneak peek at the upcoming designs:
The postage stamp die measures 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. This is a must-have set of dies, don’t you think?

Stampin’ Up! has also shared sneak peeks of the three kits that coordinate with this die set for January through March 2026. If you’ve ever considered subscribing to Paper Pumpkin, this might be the nudge you’ve been waiting for:
Last Thoughts
Paper Pumpkin kits are wonderful just as they’re designed, but I love showing how easily the elements can be stretched to create something extra special. Adding a pop-up element took this card to the next level, and it was so much fun to share that “wow” moment with my customers. Creativity really multiplies when it’s shared.
I’ll be sharing more alternative projects in the week to come. I hope you’ll come back to check them out!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi Brian
What a “wow” addition to your beautiful card!
I’ve been seeing lots of cards using the pop up dies. I’m going to have to add them to my next order! Trying to make even cuts in the card stock is tricky but these dies make it easy!
The dies definitely made it easy! If I got it right in the first try, then anyone can make these work. 🙂 Thanks, Dawn! ♥
Simple and sweet!
Thanks, Mary! ♥
Love what you’ve done with this card! Anxious to get the Pop Up
Bundle! A nice treat for the card recipient! Thanks for the idea
Brian!
Happy to share, Barbara! I had fun with this bundle – it’s a really fun one. ♥
