Welcome to my Week in Review!
Every Sunday, I love taking a few minutes to look back at the projects, moments and little highlights from the week – perfect for those who don’t follow along every day and a fun, behind-the-scenes peek for those who do. And yes… there are always a few extras tucked in here just for you. ♥
Back to Life …
Our trip to Alaska has come to an end. I absolutely love being home, but there are a few things I miss about cruise life – breakfast buffets every morning, dinner service every evening and a room attendant who magically makes the bed each day. It’s been a tough adjustment. 🙂
I’m still settling back into my routine, but I’m getting there.
I pulled a photo for Thursday’s post about the trip that ended up not making it into the final write-up. That means I get to share it with you here today instead. ♥
As I mentioned in Thursday’s post, spending time with Jackie Beers and Julie DiMatteo was one of the highlights of the trip. We enjoyed meals together, spent plenty of time chatting in the ship’s Promenade and even tackled an Escape Room adventure.
The escape room was filled with locked boxes, hidden clues and brain-teasing puzzles. Every box we opened led to another challenge. It was such a fun experience! With two retired accountants and a retired police officer working together, we each brought our own unique skills to the challenge. ♥
Back to My Week in Review…
My week of posts was filled with a lot of fun products. Let’s take a look back at the projects I shared with you this week…
Monday
I kicked off the week with a collection of thank you cards featuring the All Aflutter Bundle and the 2026-2028 In Colors. Here’s one of the cards I shared:
This is my favorite kind of card to make. The layout stayed the same, but the butterflies and monochromatic backgrounds changed from card to card. It was easy, relaxing and so much fun to build the collection.

Tuesday
On Tuesday, I shared a beautiful z-fold card created by my friend and team member, Maria Friedman. The photos are lovely, but this is truly one of those cards that’s even more impressive in person.
Here’s a look at Maria’s card:
Maria’s project is a great reminder that Designer Series Paper can completely carry a card when the patterns and colors are this beautiful. Her z-fold layout gives every panel room to shine while still feeling elegant and cohesive.

Week-in-Review Bonus:I’m lucky to have received several cards from Maria over the years. Interestingly, she’s never written inside one of them. Instead, she adds a Post-it Note to the inside (or, in this case, the back) so I can reuse and resend the card. This one, however, is staying right where it is. ♥
Wednesday
On Wednesday, I shared the card I made for Emma and gave to her aboard the ship. Since the Silly Old Bear Suite isn’t available in the UK, I wanted her to have a closer look at these adorable products.
Here’s the special card I made for my special friend:
While the background may be the most unique part of the design, the real stars of the show are those sweet characters that I love so much.
Week-in-Review Bonus:It’s difficult to see in the photo, but after blending Hydrangea Hue onto the Stylish Shapes Circle, I lightly splattered it with water to add a little extra texture. It felt like the kind of detail Emma would appreciate. I was tempted to keep splattering, but I worried I might overdo it. I’m still learning, too. ♥

Thursday
On Thursday, I shared a boatload (pun intended) of photos from our Alaskan adventure.
If you haven’t checked it out already, I hope you’ll give the post a look-see – CLICK HERE.
Friday
Thursday marked the start of Stampin’ Up!’s three-day FREE SHIPPING promotion. While the promotion ended yesterday, Friday’s post was packed with project ideas and product inspiration.
Here’s one of the cards I brought back to share with you:
It’s a wonderful bundle and a great showcase for several of the 2026-2028 In Colors. To read more, CLICK HERE.
Saturday
I wrapped up the week with a project that began with the Exciting Times Bundle and Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper and eventually found inspiration from the Delicate Whispers Bundle as well.
I especially enjoyed building the background with the Rounded Rectangle Punch. Projects that let me play with shapes and layers are always some of my favorites.
Week-in-Review Bonus: While the leaves in the Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper feature Mossy Meadow, I chose the softer Peaceful Pine for the stamped foliage. If you love the combination of Hydrangea Hue, Peaceful Pine and Secret Sea, I hope you’ll tuck that color combination away for future inspiration.
Last Thoughts
It was a week filled with wonderful memories, meaningful friendships and plenty of creative inspiration. While I’m still adjusting to being back home after such an incredible trip, it’s nice to settle back into the rhythm of creating, sharing and connecting with all of you.
Thank you for spending part of your Sunday with me. I look forward to sharing more projects, ideas and little moments from the Fungeon in the week ahead. I hope you’ll stop by again soon. ♥
