One Big Meaning … Thank You for PPA

Beth Beard is hosting this week’s sketch at Pals Paper Arts.  I found it challenging to include all the pieces of her sketch, but I was super-happy with the outcome.  And – as you would expect – I added lots and lots of layers to frame almost every element on this card.  There’s no better way to say “thank you” than with a lovely card.  Right?  Here’s the card I created: While creating my card…

You’re My Anchor for CTS163 and PP286

I’m really excited to share my project today – I love how it all came together.  Before I share, though, I want to give a big “thank you” to Nance Leady, super-talented designer at the Paper Players, who selected my Sprinkles of Life Rain or Shine card as A Cut Above last week (you can see that card here).  I had a lot of fun with the challenge and am always thrilled to be selected…

Fun with Flowers for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Many of my Stampin’ Up! team members (not just those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our team’s online community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group!  I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work with you.  I’m just as excited to see their projects as you are, and I am proud to share them with you. A Flowering Fields Thank You for GDP027

I love sharing my Global Design Project cards with you each and every Monday.  What an incredible group we’ve created – and the participation has been amazing (so many amazing cards!).  This week’s theme is “Thank You” – and I’ve created a clean and simple card with an adorable terrarium with my Stampin’ Up! products.  Here’s my card: And here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card: Tips, Tricks and Reminders Build-a-Terrarium.  Tiny…

Bye Bye, Blackberry Bliss

All good things must come to an end.  Stampin’ Up!’s 2014-2016 In Colors will be going away* with the release of the new catalog in June, so it’s time to start preparing for their departure.  After two years with these colors, we’ve grown to love them and instinctively reach for them.  Some took longer to warm up to than others, but we still have to let them go. *If there’s a color refresh, we might…

Number of Years for FMS227

I adore Linda Callahan, the host of this week’s sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.  While I intend to butter up the judge with those nice words, those nice words are very true.  Linda and I have become really close friends over the past year – she’s got a great sense of humor (and I love that).  It’s always a bright spot in my day when I get to catch up with Linda and hear…

Bordering Blooms for PPA291

Mary Fish is hosting this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge.  For this week, Mary inspired us with Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder and Pool Party.  I reached for several sets and put them back before realizing Bordering Blooms, a photopolymer stamp set in the Annual Catalog, would give me exactly what I wanted to make a card with these luscious colors.  Here’s my card for this week’s PPA challenge: And here’s the banner for Mary’s…

Sprinkles of Life for PP285 and CYCI#110

Last week I combined the sketch from The Paper Players and the color challenge from Can You Case It? to create a bright and cheery floral card with Garden in Bloom (you can see that project here).  My card was recognized as a pick by both teams!  Before I share today’s project, I want to offer a huge THANKS! to Linda Callahan (The Paper Players) and Laura Nolan (Can You Case It?) for having such…

More Cake Time

Yesterday I shared my super-sweet and simple card from this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge.  In my post yesterday, I shared my thoughts about this wonderful color combination and my love for the Party Wishes stamp set and the Party Pants stamp set.  Today, I want to share a little more about this fun Sale-a-Bration stamp set. If you missed my write-up yesterday, you can read all about it here. Here’s the card I…
