Snowfall Thinlits Baker’s Box

On Sunday I shared a sweet, little 3″ x 3″ card with a Christmas tree I built from the Snow is Glistening stamp set and Sweetly Stitched Framelits Dies. If you missed it, you can see that project here. The card showcases a little Christmas tree with a “Something Sweet to Eat” sentiment. Today’s project (which accompanies the card) brings it all together. Here’s my Baker’s Box, decorated with the Snowfall Thinlits dies and filled with a delicious cinnamon roll:

Snowfall Thinlits, Baker's Boxes, Stampin' Up!Who wouldn’t want that gift?! It’s perfectly simple and undeniably delicious.

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Baker’s Box. There are so many ways to decorate the white surface of Stampin’ Up!’s Baker’s Boxes – you can stamp on them, spritz them or sponge fun patterns. You can wrap them with ribbon or a special band of Designer Series Paper. You can even leave them alone. I chose to keep my simple so that your attention is drawn to the snowflakes on top with peeks of the cinnamon roll inside. Baker's Box, Stampin' Up!, 147899These food-safe boxes are white with a clear acetate window to showcase the treat inside. With each order, you get 8 boxes that are 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ x 2-1/8″. Such a easy way to give a homemade gift with a little handmade charm.
  • Gorgeous Topper. The snowflakes on top of the box are built by a combination of three Snowfall Thinlits Dies. The largest is cropped from White Velveteen Sheets (one of the new items in Stampin’ Up!’s November release). The medium snowflake is cropped from Coastal Cabana. The smallest is cropped from Silver Foil Sheets. The snowflake is topped with a Pearl Basic Jewel. Together, they are a perfect accent for this box. 1. That cinnamon roll makes me hungry. What a sweet and simple way to dress up a baker’s box. LOVE the snowflakes!

  2. Darling box! And did you make the sweet roll? Do we get that recipe?

  3. The snowflakes look fabulous on the baker’s box.

  4. What a great little surprise gift to bring to someone that lives alone, a special friend or just a neighbor as a thank you. My first thought was to leave a gift like that for our wonderful mail delivery person. Hmmmm, maybe I should just do that instead of thinking about it. Thanks Brian from both me and our special mail lady!

    • That’s a GREAT idea, Grace! I may have to steal that idea – will have to get a different cinnamon roll, though (as I think this one will be stale by then). <3
