MY FAVORITE THINGS

I always love the launch of a new catalog – what’s not to love about new designs of new craft supplies?! Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog is incredible! There are so many great new products showcased in this new book! Stampin’ Up!’ Demonstrators have enjoyed the opportunity to play with these new items for the past month, and we’ve enjoyed sharing our new projects with you. Now we get to share these new products with you – what fun! Hopefully this list of my favorite things will help you to shuffle your list or whittle it down a little bit – or it might inspire you to add some items you overlooked. 🙂 Either way, I’m happy to share my favorites from the book with you.

In an effort to narrow down my list a bit, I’ve lumped my favorites into categories.  Some are themes, some are product lines and some are accessories.  Regardless, these are some of my favorite things in Stampin’ Up!’s 2010 Holiday Catalog.

MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS BUNDLE

Cup of Christmas

When it comes to Christmas, we all love a good stamp set with a wreath or a tree or a jolly elf. For some reason, though, I am so drawn to the images and sentiments in the Cup of Christmas Bundle. Based on the first two days of catalog sales, I’m not alone. People love coffee, tea and cider – and my customers love this bundle. The sweet sentiments that layer beautifully over the warm mug in this set are incredible. Here’s a look at the Cup of Christmas Bundle:

Cup of Christmas Bundle, Stampin' Up!, 153025There are so many things to love about this bundle, which includes the Cup of Christmas photopolymer stamp set and Cup of Cheer Dies. Not only are the detailed dies beautiful for a variety of wonderful projects, but the cup stamps are REVERSIBLE so your mugs aren’t always facing the same direction. Here’s a fun video from Stampin’ Up! that shows you how this set works:

MY FAVORITE SUITE

Feels Like Frost

If you are like me, you love beautiful landscapes and gorgeous colors. The Feels Like Frost Suite brings these together with a gorgeous collection of products you are going to want to add to your collection of stamps, dies and papers. While we might not initially think, “Christmas!” when we see these colors and papers, the frosty scenes are perfect for your projects this holiday season. Such an amazing collection! You can click on this picture to see all of the items in this suite:

Feels Like Frost Suite, Stampin' Up!101018Good news! You don’t have to buy each of these products individually. Stampin’ Up! has given us one number to buy all the coordinated products in this suite (each of the suites in this catalog have the same). How amazing is that?! Here’s a look at the entire suite:

Feels Like Frost Suite Bundle, Stampin' Up! 153474This Suite Bundle includes:

  • Frosted Foliage Cling Stamp Set (10% off)
  • Frosted Frames Dies (10% off)
  • Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Seaside Spray 1/4″ (6.4 mm) Metallic Ribbon
  • Shimmery Crystal Effects
  • Ice Stampin’ Glitter

Every single product in this suite deserves your attention – please take a moment to review every single inch of pages 40, 41 and 42. The Frosted Foliage Bundle gives us big, beautiful sentiments with a set of frames that can’t be passed over. Here’s a look at this bundle:

MY FAVORITE ALL-OCCASIONS BUNDLE

Harvest Hello Bundle

Are you looking for a smart bundle that you can use outside of the holidays? If so, you are likely eyeing the Harvest Hello Bundle. While the Harvest hellos stamp set and coordinating Apple Builder Punch can make Thanksgiving or Halloween pumpkins this Fall, they can make green and red apples all year. Here’s a look at the Harvest Hellos Bundle:

Harvest Hellos Bundle, Stampin 'Up!, 153037Just look at the variety of sentiments here, too. The type font makes them versatile to use all year. Here are some projects I’ve made with this bundle (you can click on each of the photos to see my original post for each project):

MY FAVORITE ACCESSORIES

For nearly every punch or set of dies released, Stampin’ Up! also releases an amazing, coordinated stamp set. I will always encourage you to take advantage of the bundled pricing from a bundle (10% off both items is great!), but there are some dies or punches that are just amazing on their own.

Stitched Stars Dies

We have stitched circles, squares, ovals and rectangles (along with lots of other stitched shapes). It was only a matter of time before stitched stars came our way. Yay! Here’s a look at the oh-so-versatile Stitched Stars Dies:

Pine Tree Punch

I’ve also had a lot of fun with the decidedly Holiday-themed Pine Tree Punch. I haven’t yet inked up the coordinating Perfectly Plaid Bundle, but I’ve punched lots and lots of trees. Here’s a look at the Pine Tree Punch:

MY FLASHBACK FAVORITES

What are the Holidays without memories of years gone by? There are two products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog that enjoyably trigger flashbacks (and for two very different reasons). Here are my flashback favorites…

Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper

The patterns and colors in the Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper are reminiscent of Christmases past. I adore the color palette in this pack of papers (Crushed Curry and Pretty Peacock look so retro here) with fun images of reindeer, stockings and Christmas trees:

Tiny Keepsakes Bundle

Some time ago, the Curvy Keepsakes Dies were all the rage with a fun treat box cut from the dies. Everyone loved them – and for good reason. Stampin’ Up! dipped its toe into the nostalgia pool a bit to bring back a tinier version of the Curvy Keepsakes Dies. Here’s a look at the Tiny Keepsakes Bundle:

MY FAVORITE PAPER

COME TO GATHER DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

You know how much I love Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers, right?  The designs inspire me by offering great patterns and outrageously gorgeous color combinations. I love the warm, rich colors of Fall, so I’m naturally drawn to the patterns and tones in the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:

  1. What a lovely list and I concur! Thanks for sharing your favorites and more resources for each.

  2. It’s always fun to see your favorites. Enjoy your day!

  3. I need more persuasion on the Cup Of Christmas…please inspire me more!

  4. GREAT favorite share. I simply LOVE the Cup of Christmas Bundle. Thanks for sharing.

  5. So many bundles – I WANT THEM ALL!!!!! I have to agree that this is the best Holiday catalog evah!!! I think I’ve almost worn out the pages by looking through it so many times. I can’t even choose a favorite because I love them all but you have done a fantastic job of summarizing your favorites and it was fun to see and read. Thanks Brian for sharing your thoughts and samples. Fantastic job.

  6. Love seeing your favorites and revisiting some of your creations. I am looking forward to ordering the Cup of Christmas which is one of my favorites. I plan on ordering the tiny curvy box. It is such a cutie! It will make a dent in some old DSP to hold a little trinket or treat. I have a long list of people who could use a little treat. The star thing is just not me but that is why there is a huge variety to choose from.

  7. Cup of Christmas is definitely on my list. I’ve also earmarked the Perfectly Plaid Bundle. The Christmas Layers die set is somewhat hidden in the catalog, but that set has my attention. I’m looking forward to the DSP samples from you to decide on the patterned papers.

  8. Always so interesting to see what everyone has on their “favorites” list. Thank heavens SU covers such a wide spectrum of design aesthetics; we get to choose from such an embarrassment of riches. Thanks for the great share.

  9. Fabulous favorites, Brian! My coffee lovin’ heart is so pleased to see Cup of Christmas made your list. So many beautiful choices in this catty!
