I’m not perfect. I love creating cards, and I love sharing those cards with you. I love paper crafting so much that I often find myself with too much on my plate. As a result I don’t always finish everything I set out to finish. For example, I had big hopes for this year’s Christmas card and even ran my Big Shot a couple hundred times to start building the pieces. In the end, though, I ran out of time. Not one Christmas card made it in the mail this year. I want to believe that my customers, team members, friends and family were understanding of this “big miss.” You forgive me, right?
As a way to share some Christmas joy with you today (even if it’s not in the form of a card), I’m sharing a video introduction I TRIED to make in 2012 when I was still brand new to Stampin’ Up!. Mom agreed to film me as I made a somewhat-corny introduction that led to her laughing and me laughing and Mom telling me I needed to “quit making [my] face look like that.”
2012 was so long ago. I was still a brand new demonstrator (most of the stamps you see behind me were from my years as a customer), and the Fungeon still hadn’t been named, decorated or carpeted.
I hope your Christmas is wonderful and that you get to spend it the way you want.
Much love to you today! Thanks for stopping by today!
Brian

This blooper is a CLASSIC!!!
LOVE your Mom & your face.
Video is funniest if put on a loop and watched OVER and OVER again.
Merry Christmas my friend.
A loop is definitely best. I still giggle at Mom’s “lose her breath” laughter. Merry Christmas, my friend! β₯
Merry Christmas my peach!!!! You always make me smile with your humor. Wish you another successful year ahead, Brian.
Thanks so much, Nancy! Happy to give a smile (even if it’s from 7 years ago). Always love to hear from you and appreciate your support. β₯

So glad to know that, like the rest of us, you are not perfect because at times it sure seems like you are!!! Love and Merry Christmas to everyone at your house! ?
I was afraid to put that in writing, Katie, but… π Thanks, my friend! Hope your Christmas is wonderful! β₯
I give Mary a lot of credit for keeping the camera going! Such fun to revisit that video Brian. My first laugh of the day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and the family.
I don’t know how either of us eventually got through it (or if we ever did). π Merry Christmas, Grace! Hope there are more laughs and smiles to come.
I just adore you and Mom! I’ve never seen this before and it’s a beautiful, fun way to start off my Christmas morning! I also have great intentions, and although I did get SOME Christmas cards out this year, I probably wouldn’t have, if it weren’t for The Night Beforw Christmas card set and envelopes. Good thing I had a class on those, otherwise no one would have seen a card this year. Merry Christmas, my friend. May 2020 bring you and yours nothing but more fun and laughter, good health and a ton of card making genius. After all..you ARE the KING! β₯οΈβ₯οΈ?
Thanks so much, Bobbi! I am so happy you haven’t seen this before – I still giggle about how hard it was to get through that simple introduction. Merry Christmas to you and yours, too! β₯
So much FUN!! Love the laughs. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Happy New Year too!
π Thanks so much, Ellie! I’m sending all the same wishes back to you. β₯
Too funny, dude!! Glad to know my mom and I are not the only ones who can get into laughing fits! π
Wonderful video!
You’re not alone with not getting Christmas cards made and in the mail this year. I had big plans to make rather simple cards, but that did not happen. I guess I’ll save all of my supplies and use them next year.
Love your laughter!
