MY FAVORITE THINGS

I always love the launch of a new catalog – what’s not to love about new designs of new craft supplies?! Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2020 Mini Catalog is incredible! There are so many great, new products showcased in this new book! Stampin’ Up!’ Demonstrators have enjoyed the opportunity to play with these new items since late last year, and we’ve enjoyed sharing our new projects with you. Now we get to share these new products with you, too – what fun! Hopefully this list of my favorite things will help you to shuffle your list or whittle it down a little bit – or it might inspire you to add some items you overlooked. 🙂 Either way, I’m happy to share my favorites from the book with you.

In an effort to narrow down my list a bit, I’ve lumped my favorites into categories.  Some are themes, some are product lines and some are accessories.

Today I am sharing:

  • My Favorite Suite
  • My Favorite Bundle
  • My Favorite Dies
  • My Favorite Accents

I’ve selected some other favorites that I’ll share tomorrow. ♥

My Favorite Suite – Peaceful Poppies

Not only do bright, beautiful poppies canvas the front cover of the new catalog, but there are so many great poppy-related products inside the book. The Peaceful Poppies Suite includes TWO poppy-themed bundles that beautifully coordinate with one another. I LOVE THAT! The two featured bundles in this suite are incredible and beautifully coordinate with one another.

All of the products in the Peaceful Poppies Suite are offered in a Peaceful Poppies Suite Bundle. What an incredible collection of products! Here’s a look:

Peaceful Moments, Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian King Happy Birthday to You, Peaceful Moments, Stampin Up!, Brian King, birthday card I don’t think of myself as a “flower kind of guy” but I sure do reach for flowers a lot. These poppies are a great addition to my collection of stamps, dies and papers.

My Favorite Bundle – Heartfelt

Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it, so the products in the From My Heart Suite have a limited life if you want to create with them for February 14, 2020. I love a good punch, so I’m drawn to bundles that feature a punch. This one features TWO punches – what fun! AND the coordinating stamp set is a photopolymer set. Does it get any better than that?! Here’s a look at the Heartfelt Bundle:

Heartfelt Bundle, Stampin Up! 153775I shared a card with this bundle yesterday and couldn’t have had more fun playing with this bundle. The hearts layer perfectly, and the sentiments are great fun! Here’s a look at the card I shared yesterday (you can click on the photo to read my entire post about this project):

The From My Heart Designer Series Paper, though, is a perfect accompaniment to the bundle. There are many images in these pages that can be cropped with the Heart Punch Pack. My Favorite Dies – Stitched So Sweetly Dies

Stitched dies have become so popular over the last year. Hidden in the middle of Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2020 Mini Catalog is a set of dies that needs to be a part of your stash of craft supplies. The Stitched So Sweetly Dies are an incredible mix of versatile shapes that can be used with so many of the stamps we already have. Here’s a look at the Stitched So Sweetly Dies:

Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Stampin Up! 151690Each of these shapes is cropped with a stitched outline on the inside. So many great options in these dies. I know I’m going to use them LOTS over the next few months.

Bonus. While the dies coordinate with so many sentiments and images we have in our current collections, there’s a stamp set is designed to coordinate with the dies. Here’s a look at the So Sentimental Bundle:

My Favorite Accents – Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Break out the champagne! Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels, that is. These self-adhesive rhinestones are an elegant, neutral champagne color, so they’ll go with almost any project. Add a little flair to your paper crafts with these fancy gem stickers. Here’s a look at these stylin’ and profilin’ accents:

Parisian Beauty, Forever Blossoms, Stampin Up!I’ve not used these rhinestones yet, but I will certainly be using them soon. I love the elegant bling they bring to a project. ♥
