Brian’s Week in Review: March 16, 2025

Brian's Week in Review

While many of my friends and team members have been filled with the excitement over Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage (Convention) this past week in Raleigh, Strasbourg and Brisbane, I’ve been home. I’m wrapping up things at work and starting to line up my projects for around the house. I’ve worked on Fungeon organization, too, but I still have a long way to go before I feel good about it. Soon I will have time to devote to the overhaul. ♥

One of the “big reveals” at OnStage was the release of Stampin’ Up!’s 2025 Annual Catalog and the 2026-2027 In Colors. Is there anything more exciting than that?! I’ll be sharing more about the new In Colors this week, but here’s a look at the new colors (a photo taken by Dr. Robin Daus, my friend who was in attendance at the Raleigh event):

The new colors (from left to right) are:

  • Secret Sea
  • Cloud Cover
  • Strawberry Slush (a returning In Color)
  • Timid Tiger
  • Darling Duckling

They are lovely, and I can’t wait to get my hands on these colors and start playing. What fun!

Today is Sunday – and that means it’s time to take a look back at the past week in my Week in Review post. I want to share a quick rundown of the week (for those who don’t follow me every day) with a little extra background (for those who already tune in daily).

Monday

Monday marked the launch of the next Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit that Emma Goddard and I host. While the deadline to sign-up for the kit has now passed, I can still get you in on the Online Only version of the kit if you are interested.

Tuesday

On Tuesday I shared the one-and-only St. Patrick’s Day card I made this year. Shy Shamrock just seems to be the PERFECT green for the special day. Here’s the card I made:

Tags of Thanks, On the Go Dies, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, shamrocks for St Patrick's Day The sentiment is from the new Tags of Thanks stamp set, and the clovers are built with hearts from the new Tags to Go Dies. Such a sweet combination! If you’d like to read more about this project or see the products I used to make it, CLICK HERE.

Wednesday

Every day since Wednesday, I have popped back over to the card I shared on Wednesday to take another peek at that card. I couldn’t be happier with how that project turned out – every element played its part to build that card. Here’s a look at my Memorable Blooms Bundle card:

Thursday

The past several months have been really amazing for me – lots to celebrate and lots to look forward to. On Thursday I shared six OVER-THE-TOP celebratory cards I received from friends over the past couple of months.

Six Celebration Cards, Stampin' Up!I also shared a closer look at each of the cards and some brief commentary. How fortunate am I to have received such celebratory support from so many incredible friends?! To read more, CLICK HERE.

Friday

I sent little gifties to my InKing Royalty team members who are in Raleigh, NC. My upline, Pam, carried them in her suitcase and delivered them to the OnStage-goers. I always “instruct” my team members to “be awesome” after our team calls (it’s an easy ask because that just comes naturally to all of them).

Each of the gifts was wrapped in a sheet of the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper. Each tag was built with the Textured Notes Dies and stamped with a sentiment from the Memorable Blooms stamp set. Perfect, huh? Here’s a look at one of the tags:

Saturday

Yesterday I shared a look at the Designer Series Paper Swatch Books from Stampin’ Up!’s March Online Exclusives launch. I originally offered them with the product shares I mailed out earlier this month.

  3. I often give my retired inks/markers to my grandkids or my GS troops, but for some reason I kept Strawberry Slush. In fact, we just used it last weekend making Easter prayer cards in Sunday School. Glad it’s coming back~I need to re-ink, and my bottle is empty!
