6 More Celebratory Cards from Special Friends

In January I reached a huge milestone in my Stampin’ Up! career – less than 1% of demonstrators reach $1,000,000 in sales, so I am honored to be a part of a small group of hard-working, high-achieving people. I received so many kind messages – text messages, phone calls, Facebook comments, emails and comments here on my blog. Thank you to everyone who reached out and helped to make my accomplish feel that much more special. I appreciate you all!

I have accumulated quite a few amazing cards over the past few months. I shared six special cards with you a couple of weeks ago (if you missed that post, you can see it here), and I’m excited to share six more with you today. Here’s a look at six special cards I received from six wonderful friends:

Six Great Congratulations Cards, Stampin' Up!, stampwithbrian.com

You can’t imagine how happy I was to open each of these beauties! I’m excited to give you a closer look at each with a few quick comments about the products used in each.

from Jan Dufour

Jan knows my style, and I have to believe she designed this card especially for me. Not only do I love the graphic nature of the stenciled background and the way she built the sentiment and corresponding label, but she embraced many layers to build this celebratory card. She might have dug way back in my history, too, to know that I love the mix of Crushed Curry and Real Red (I think it’s a refreshing combination). Here’s the card Jan sent me:

by Robin Myren

Like several of the cards in the first batch I shared, Robin’s card features the [retired] Light the Sky Bundle – the firework bands are cut into the blue paper, allowing the glimmer paper panel below it to shine through. I never got this bundle, but I now see so many ways I could have used it. There are few people I love as much as I love Robin Myren – and this card captures the energy she exudes. Here’s Robin’s card:

by Amy Novicki

I want to say Amy Novicki was hanging out at the post office with this card to drop it in the mail the very moment I passed over my milestone. It was the first card I received, and I couldn’t love it more. The Blackberry Bliss plaid background from the To Market Designer Series Paper was the perfect foundation for a wine-and-cheese celebration. Here’s the card Amy sent me:

by Wendie Waldman

It’s difficult to capture the shine in the card Wendie sent me. The black-and-gold foil stripes create a bold foundation for these three sentiments. Wendie wasn’t sure what sentiment to use, so she added all three. 🙂 She even gave each sentiment their own color, making this card even more fun. Here’s the card Wendie sent to me:

by Teresa Smith

Teresa grabbed some pieces of the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and a coordinating Memories & More Card Pack to make this card. The ombre effect of the background and the water colored panels are a beautiful mix. It’s always special to receive a card from my friend Teresa. Here’s the card she made me:

by Barbara Moody

Barbara created an elegant celebration with the card she sent me. Gold and Lost Lagoon are a brilliant combination – couldn’t be more beautiful on this grand balloon! She used the Gold Celebrations Specialty Paper (acetate sheets with gold designs) to build the backdrop for this super-sweet card. Here’s the card Barbara sent me:

Lucky me! I loved receiving each and every one of these cards – and I have more to share with you. The designs and mix of products in these cards are so inspiring. I hope these celebratory and fun cards inspire you as much as they have inspired me.
