Pam’s Super-Sweet Card with Storybook Moments

I hosted a card swap with my InKing Royalty team members in June. The cards have all been mailed out and received, so I’m excited to share them with you next week. My upline, Pam Morris, participated in the swap – and her swap card is in one of the batches I will share with you next week. Here’s a blurry photo of Pam and me (taken earlier this year) in an incredible Italian diner:

Along with her swap cards, Pam sent me the sweetest little card that I can’t imagine not sharing with you. Here’s the card Pam sent me:

by Pam Morris, Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper, Everyday Arches Dies, Stampin' Up!Not only does the card feature two spectacular pages from the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper, but the card is a wonderful showcase of the Everyday Arches Dies and a brilliant fun fold (I’ll show your more about that in a bit).

The Paper

Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper:

The larger piece features the Wild Wheat page (second on the top row) and the page with small featurettes next to it – that’s where the chipmunk is found! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns on this single page from the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper:

Pam’s card features FOUR layers that are die-cut (two from the Designer Series Paper and two from cardstock) with the Everyday Arches Dies. If you have these dies, you’ll want to build a pattern similar to Pam’s. If you don’t, you should! β™₯ Here’s a look at this incredible bundle:

I’ve covered the adorable paper and the incredible dies, but I haven’t yet addressed the fun fold on Pam’s card. It’s a simple, but really fun one! The four arches on Pam’s card are mounted on a 4″ x 8-1/2″ (scored at 4-1/4″) piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock. Here’s a quick peek at how this card opens up:

by Pam Morris, Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper, Everyday Arches Dies, Stampin' Up!Pam has always had a way with finding and showcasing the most adorable images. She can make a “Pam card” with just one small image and a tiny sentiment. In this case, she created an adorable, multi-layered card that’s perfect for any variety of occasions. I love it!

Here are the products Pam used to create this card:

Papers: Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper, Mossy Meadow, Wild Wheat (retired)Β  Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you’ll leave a comment to let Pam know how much you love her sweet card.

    • I love the layering you used here and can TOTALLY see how you could make multiples with so many different papers, Pam! I was really surprised by the “hidden” card base and originally thought I would just be flipping over the beautifully layered die-cut shapes. Such fun! I love the simplicity of it and have plans to case it for several nursing home cards. Thank you Pam for the inspiration and Brian, thank you for sharing it! LOVE IT!

    • I’m so happy to share the card, Mary! I agree with you – this layout and card idea is perfect for nearly any occasion. I’m so happy you feel as inspired by her card as I do. β™₯
