Inspiring Royal Swaps: Day 1

I love my InKing Royalty team – my talented and generous team members share projects they’ve made in our InKing Royalty Facebook group (a fun group of supportive stampers who’ve signed up with me or the members in my first and second levels). There’s nothing like receiving a card in the mail, though.

This past month, I hosted a card swap with my team to share exciting projects and creative inspiration with fellow team members. Participants designed a card with current Stampin’ Up! products and sent me 10. In return, they each received 10 cards back, along with a little gift. What fun!

Today I’m excited to share a batch of the swap cards. Some are brand new stampers, and others have been stamping for years. I hope you’ll leave a comment to let them know how much you love their projects.

Karen Szczepkowski

I’ve shared many swap cards from Karen over the years – she is the queen of a fancy fold card. Apparently, though, she also has an incredible knack for sweet clean-and-simple cards (like the one she made for June’s Royal Swap). Here’s the card she designed:

by Karen Szczepkowski, Stampin' Up!, 2025 InKing Royalty Card SwapKaren embossed a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder and used a Blending Brush to add Strawberry Slush to the center of the card. So beautiful! She added a white butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies Dies, twist of clear shimmer ribbon and a bannered sentiment (also from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set). Karen accented her gorgeous card with 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls. I’m in awe of the beauty of this card.

Key Ingredients: Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder (#164695), Beautiful Butterflies Bundle (#164615), Iridescent 1/2″ Striped Trim (#163299)

Marilyn Jones

Marilyn designed a beautiful sympathy card with a mix of papers, textures and ribbons from a variety of collections – but they all look wonderful together on her card. Here’s the card Marilyn designed for our swap:

by Marilyn Jones, Stampin' Up!, 2025 InKing Royalty Card SwapThe sketched trees at the heart of this card are pulled from the GORGEOUS pages of the Beautiful Gallery 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. It’s not one of the most featured pages in the pack, but it’s perfect for a card like this. Marilyn added a strip of foil and a striped page from the Weekend Adventures Designer Series Paper. She added a sentiment from and die-cut label from the Mixed Labels Bundle to a piece of silver trim and tied it off with a gingham ribbon. The blue border around the focal panel adds a lovely pop of color to her card.

Renae Novak

I’ve seen a lot of cards with the sweet flowers in the Impressions Abloom stamp set, but Renae’s sweet card gives the flowers a new look. Here’s a look at the card Renae designed for the Royal Swap:

by Renae Novak, Stampin' Up!, 2025 InKing Royalty Card SwapRenae created her own patterned paper by stamping the flowers over and over in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape and then filling them with a Lemon Lolly center. How bold, how sweet! She added texture to her card with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder and a bannered sentiment with the Impressions Abloom stamp set

Key Ingredients: Impressions Abloom Bundle (#165611), Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder (#164069)

Pam Morris

On Saturday, I shared a super-sweet card Pam (my Stampin’ Up! upline) made for me that she included with her swap cards (if you missed that post, you can see it here). That card features a clean, sweet design with the Everyday Arches Dies. Here’s Pam’s swap card, which also beautifully showcases the same dies:

by Pam Morris, Stampin' Up!, 2025 InKing Royalty Card SwapPam’s card mixes two of Stampin’ Up!’s 2025-2027 In Colors – Secret Sea and Cloud Cover – and a gorgeous mix of images and textures. The focal panel is cropped from Cloud Cover cardstock with the Everyday Arches Dies. Pam also cropped a leafy decorative design with the Beautiful Motifs Dies, giving a little pop out on that cut out. It’s the Cloud Cover flowers, stamped and cropped with the Gallery Blooms Bundle, that really sets the mood on this beautiful card.

Key Ingredients: Gallery Blooms Bundle (#165213), Everyday Arches Bundle (#164630), Beautiful Motifs Bundle (#165206)

What do you think?! Do you see some products or techniques that you can’t live without?! Aren’t these projects inspiring and wonderful?! I hope you’ll leave a comment to let these artists know how much you enjoy their work. ♥

I’ll be back later in the week to share some more from the swap!

Thanks for stopping by today!
