Welcome to my Week in Review. Today I want to give you a quick rundown of the week (for those who don’t follow me every day) with a little extra background (for those who already tune in daily). But first, I want to tell you a little bit about my week…
This past week, Julie DiMatteo, Pam Morris and I hosted a catalog flip with my InKing Royalty team. On the call, we flipped through the pages of the Holiday Mini, admiring all of the new goodies and offering our opinions and impressions of all the new products. It’s always such a fun time – we really keep each other in stitches during these calls. 🙂
In the Fungeon I’ve been assembling the project kits for the next Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit, loving everything about the Charming Day Bundle. I’m also organizing my supplies (embellishments, papers, ribbons and markers) to keep up with the retiring products lists. It feels really good to get things organized and ready for the new products that are soon headed my way.
All the while, I’m preparing for products shares from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives launch. I’ll be sharing those in the coming week. ♥
Oh! I’ve also started a new puzzle – a 1000 piece showcase of our 63 National Parks posters. I’m mostly working on it late at night/early morning. I’ll be sure to share it with you when I’m done.
Enough about me. Let’s jump into the week…
Monday
On Monday I shared a bunch of tidbits about the 2025-2027 In Color Sale that will last through the remainder of the month, along with a showcase of projects I’ve made with the new In Colors – such a great collection!
If you’d like to read more about this promotion, click on the image below:
If there’s one thing I want you to know about this sale – it’s that the sale extends to products that include these colors (like Designer Series Papers, embellishments and kits that showcase any or all of the new colors).
Bonus! Here’s a fun video from Stampin’ Up! to look at fun color combinations with these five new colors:
Tuesday
The In Color promotion launched on Tuesday – but there were some other surprises I needed to share with you. For one, the company loaded lots of products into the Last Chance Products section of the online store – including big discounts on a lot of great products. Always a good time!
In addition, Stampin’ Up! added select Sale-a-Bration products from this past year into the line up of Last Chance Products. Don’t miss out!
Also…the company launched three kits on Tuesday. Here’s my favorite:

Wednesday
On Wednesday I shared a happy rainbow card with a mix of Stampin’ Up! products that makes me so happy – the Sunshine Wishes Dies, the Everyday Skies 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Tags of Thanks stamp set. ♥ Here’s the card I shared with you on Wednesday:
Bonus! While I shared the brilliant colors and talked about the starburst and hearts in my post on Wednesday, I didn’t show you the extra shine I added to the trio of happy shapes on my card. Once I water colored the starburst and hearts, lightly splashed them with water and let the elements dry, I painted each with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. That little actions adds so much to the card – here’s a closer look:
Cute, huh? If you want to read more about my card, including a graphic of the colors used in the rainbow, CLICK HERE.
Thursday
On Wednesday night I rolled up my sleeves to play along with a fun Freshly Made Sketches challenge – always a great start for a card. Here’s the spooky cute Halloween card I made with the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper and Fright Night Dies:
How fun are those windows?! I just snipped them out of the paper and then layered them on more paper and framed them with even more. If you want to read more about this project and the products I used to create it, CLICK HERE.
Friday
Friday was a big day – as we prepared to celebrate my Aunt Carole’s milestone birthday, I shared the pretty, laugh-out-loud card I made at Mom’s request. I’m so grateful for all of the warm wishes you sent to my aunt – and she reached out to let me know how touched she was by all the kindness. You are a special group! ♥
Here’s the card I made for my Aunt Carole:
I love the tongue-in-cheek humor and ALL THE CANDLES! Not 29 Anymore is definitely a must-have in your stamp collection! ♥ If you want to read more about this project, CLICK HERE.
Saturday
Yesterday I shared a festive box of popcorn and a coordinating punny sentiment. Here’s the Poppin’ By card I shared:
Don’t miss the fun techniques I shared for inking up the popcorn box or the tips I shared for the fun 3-D glasses I added to the little character. To learn more, CLICK HERE.
Bonus! If you like the layout of my simple card, here’s a graphic you can save to use as future inspiration:
I’m so happy to share these projects and ideas with you. I’ll have more to share next week – I hope you’ll come back every day to see what I’m sharing. ♥
Thanks for stopping by today!
Brian

Hi Brian
So love your week in review posts!
I especially loved that you shared how you created the rainbow 🌈
So glad your Aunt had a Special Birthday 🎉
Thanks so much, Dawn! It’s fun for me to write up these recaps, too! So glad you like them.
Wow! Busy, but fun week for you Brian! And, we thought you were retired! Continue to enjoy!
I say the same thing every day, Barbara! 🙂 Not sure how I got all this stuff done while I was also working a full-time job.
