Welcome to my Week in Review!
Every Sunday, I love taking a few minutes to look back at the projects, moments and little highlights from the week – perfect for those who don’t follow along every day and a fun, behind-the-scenes peek for those who do. And yes… there are always a few extras tucked in here just for you. ♥
Happy Father’s Day!
Many of you are celebrating fathers today – your father, the father of your children, the father of your grandchildren, or the father of your great grandchildren. I’m sending a message today to my brothers and brother-in-law, who live in other cities. Whatever you are doing or how you are celebrating today, I hope you have a great time and love spending time with those you love.
I shared a parade of masculine cards yesterday – if you have to quickly make a card this morning (you were so busy this week!), CLICK HERE for a little inspiration. ♥
A Follow-Up on Mom’s Quilt
When Mom was visiting in May, she was working on a quilt for my nephew. I shared a quick picture of it on one of my Week-in-Review posts, and you were all so kind to leave kind comments for Mom – CLICK HERE for the original post.
Mom did all the work to assemble the pieces, but I helped her shop for the patterns – such fun! Mom sent me pictures of the finished quilt last week, and I’m happy to let you see the finished quilt. It’s almost like I have a social media manager. 🙂
The blocks on the quilt are mostly black-and-white (with a few off-white panels sprinkled in) and feature airplanes and travel themes with some generic patterns. Marshall, my nephew and Mom’s grandson, just finished pilot school, so this is a perfect gift for him.
This is Marylin, from Marietta’s Quilt-and-Sew in Simpsonville, SC, who finished the quilting pattern on Mom’s quilt:
While one side of the quilt features the blocks, the other side is a solid print we found online. Mom took this photo to showcase this side of the quilt:
And here’s Marshall with his finished quilt the day it was delivered:
If you look closely at the picture, you’ll notice The Braves are playing in the background.
Back to My Week in Review…
My week of posts was filled with a lot of fun products. Let’s take a look back at the projects I shared with you this week…
Monday
Last week wrapped up with a card I made using the Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Rounded Rectangle Punch. This week kicked off with another project using those same products:

Week-in-Review Bonus: I love this combination of Secret Sea, Hydrangea Hue and Secret Sea. If you love it as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Tuesday
On Tuesday I shared a project that’s been simmering on my craft table for a couple of months. I’m so happy with how this showcase of Golden Glow came together for me:
The card features a vase and flowers from the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper and a backdrop from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper.

Wednesday
On Wednesday I launched my Product Shares from the upcoming July Online Exclusives Launch. It’s a small offering, so the prices are really low, too!
I hope you’ll CLICK HERE to check out the offerings – this is a great selection of products that span summer through Christmas – and beyond.
Thursday
I shared a Get Well Soon card on Thursday that started as a simple, one-or-two layer card that ended up with seven layers. I just couldn’t help myself! Here’s that card:
Both of these Designer Series Papers are from packs I’ve used a lot – and I’m sure you’ll see more.

Friday
On Friday, June 19, I shared a card I made with Juneteenth in mind:
The card, inspired by Juneteenth, was not intended as a literal representation of the holiday but as a thoughtful tribute to remembrance, freedom, and hope. To read more about this card and the history of this holiday, CLICK HERE.
Saturday
Yesterday I shared a parade of masculine cards for Father’s Day, featuring cards I’ve made from the past year and beyond. I started my post with some tips for making masculine cards – they don’t have to be difficult to make. ♥
Some of the cards weren’t originally designed for Father’s Day but could be adapted with a few changes. With all of the excitement around international soccer right now, this card felt a little more current than I originally thought it would be:
The A Wonderful Match Designer Series Paper is still currently available in the online store for a quick-and-easy soccer card.

Last Thoughts
It was a week filled with wonderful memories, meaningful friendships and plenty of creative inspiration. While I’m still adjusting to being back home after such an incredible trip, it’s nice to settle back into the rhythm of creating, sharing and connecting with all of you.
Thank you for spending part of your Sunday with me. I look forward to sharing more projects, ideas and little moments from the Fungeon in the week ahead. I hope you’ll stop by again soon. ♥
