All good things must come to an end. Stampin’ Up!’s 2014-2016 In Colors will be going away* with the release of the new catalog in June, so it’s time to start preparing for their departure. After two years with these colors, we’ve grown to love them and instinctively reach for them. Some took longer to warm up to than others, but we still have to let them go.
*If there’s a color refresh, we might see some of these colors stick around, but we have no information to indicate they won’t be going away at the end of May.
In a series of posts over a couple of weeks, I’m sharing a look back at these in colors and sharing some color combinations I like for each. First, here’s a recap of the colors that will be retiring soon:
Mossy Meadow was an immediate favorite of mine. At first, I wanted to think it was just like Garden Green, but it’s not. Oddly, this green is dirtier and yet more sophisticated. It’s a green that pairs with almost any color in the Stampin’ Up!’ spectrum. Pair it with pale blues, bright pinks, soft pinks, browns, yellows…shall I continue? It’s a lovely color, and I hate to see it go. It’s with great regard that I look to a future color refresh that will #BringMossyMeadowBack.
Don’t Wait for the “I Told You So”
NOW’S THE TIME to stock up on everything Mossy Meadow (and the other great colors) – you can earn Sale-a-Bration credits for free product with your purchases AND the items are still orderable. As you may know from prior years, as soon as Stampin’ Up! releases the Retiring List, all of the retiring In Color products will go first. Here’s a quick rundown of some of my favorite Mossy Meadow items you could pick up now:
