Welcome to my Week in Review! Each Sunday, I like to share a quick recap for those who donβt follow along every dayβand a little extra behind-the-scenes for those who do. You don’t want to miss these extras! β₯
Thankful for Family
Thanksgiving was small (Mom, Jeremiah and Jeremiah’s Mom), but that didn’t mean we ate small. We enjoyed turkey, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, squash casserole, macaroni and cheese, green beans, cranberry sauce and rolls. We finished that off with pecan pie, brownie pie and ice cream. We planned to play games but decided to sit back and watch a the National Dog Show and a movie. That was likely a better choice for letting our food settle a bit.
Thankful for Crafting Time
Mom has been here a little more than a week, and we’ve really made the most of our time. Mom finished a lap quilt she’s been working on, and I’ve been … you guessed it … making cards. In all the craft time, we also made time for puzzling and cooking. Since you ask about it, here’ the puzzle we finished last week to bring in Thanksgiving:
This seems like a really simple puzzle, but there are a lot of repeated patterns and colors (seems to be a lesson I learn over and over). More sunflowers than I originally expected. We had fun with it.
Mom and I have a lot more crafting ahead of us, but first we are meeting with my sister-in-law’s family today for more eating. While I will enjoy lunch with the family, I will appreciate getting back to a schedule of lighter eating. Balance is good.
Thankful for Stampin’ Up! Promotions

Week in Review
Enough about me and the current/upcoming promotions. Let’s get back to the week in review. Here’s a look at the projects I shared with you this week (don’t miss the bonus add-ins!) …
Monday
This past week was all about gratitude and Thanksgiving-themed projects. I kicked off the week with this card that showcases three pages of the Gather Together Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Label Me Grateful Bundle:
The panels are beautiful, but the dramatic bow brings it all together. Don’t you think?

Tuesday
On Tuesday I gave you the full rundown of Stampin’ Up!’s Black Friday Sale.
With a Black Friday sale starting three days before Black Friday (which is pretty standard these days), I gave you the gentle nudge to get ahead of the sale so you could pick up the papers and blades and adhesives you wanted. Those all sold out of inventory quickly, but there are still a lot of Stampin’ Blends left at a 40% discount. β₯

Wednesday
With the Black Friday Sale underway, I turned my focus back to Thanksgiving projects. Here’s the card I created for the Be Inspired Blog Hop:
The theme was “Feeling Festive.” While most projects featured Christmas products, I’ve been in the Thanksgiving spirit, so I made this card with the Etched Autumn stamp set.

Thursday
On Thursday I launched my parade of Thanksgiving cards. In my post, I shared 25 Fall-themed cards and thank you cards with links to the original posts for each.

Friday
I created a black card to share on Black Friday. With the gorgeous assortment of black papers in the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper, it wasn’t a big reach to make this mostly-black card:
Oh, how I love these papers. This card was relatively easy to pull together, and I love how rich they look. The gold elements really make the card special.

Saturday
On Saturday I shared the tags I made to accompany the kits I mailed out for my Joyful Days card class. Here’s a look at the tag:
I loved making these tags and the five colorful stripes.
A little backstory…Β while I was trying to get ahead of my projects for the Joyful Days class, I cropped a basic white “JOY” with the Abundant Joy Dies for each of the kits before I had finalized all of my designs. When I finalized my projects with a silver glimmer “JOY” I was left with a pile of white “JOY”s. Onto the tags they went! They were the perfect size and color and shape for these fun tags!

Looking Ahead
I’ve got some fun projects to share with you this coming week, including updates to the coming promotions. I hope you’ll come back every day this coming week! π
The Holiday One-for-One Card Swaps were also mailed out this weekend. They are wonderful! If you participated, be on the lookout. I’ll soon be sharing them on my blog – but I want to make sure the recipients receive them first. π
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi Brian
I hope you enjoyed your lunch with family!
Here in Madison, Wi we are digging out of up to a foot of snow!
Love your week in review!
Iβm looking forward to receiving my swap card and seeing all the cards you received!
Thanksgiving blessings to you and your family!
Every time I utter the words “it’s sooo cold,” I realize that it’s all relative. Today was particularly wet and cold, but zero feet of snow here. π
I am thinking the abundance of sunflowers in the puzzle are some kind of sign. Enjoy your time with family!
π Thanks, Cindie! We had fun with this one, despite the unexpected repetitions.
