I’m a lucky guy!
Last night, my dear friend Peggy Noe joined my InKing Royalty Team Call. I’ve known Peggy for 14 years now, and every opportunity to spend time with her is a treat. She joined us to share projects she created with Stampin’ Up!’s new Stampin’ Hot Foil products, offering wonderful tips, creative ideas, and even making a card live during the call. What fun!
While either of us would happily join the other’s team call just because we’re friends, we decided to make it a fun exchange. I joined Peggy’s team call last week, and she joined mine this week. As luck would have it, I had decorated the bookcase behind me with a favorite photo of Peggy before her call.
Peggy wasn’t about to let me have the last laugh. When she joined my team’s call last night, she had created an entire wall of Brians behind her!

Hot Foiling with Peggy
I can’t share the video from our call – that was a special treat for my InKing Royalty team members – but I’m delighted to share a few photos from our evening together.
Peggy demonstrated the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System using the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Dies and the Butterfly Flight Bundle. If you know Peggy, it probably won’t surprise you that she reached for the Light Pink Hot Foil. ♥
As she worked, Peggy walked us through each product she used on her card while also sharing several beautiful samples she had already created with the new collection. Her tips throughout the presentation were incredibly helpful, especially for those of us still learning the ins and outs of hot foiling.
One product quickly emerged as Peggy’s favorite – the Stampin’ Hot Foil Magnetic Pick-up Tool. It safely lifts the heated dies from the platform and lets you release them onto a silicone mat with the press of a button. I completely understand why she loves it so much!
Peggy also demonstrated the complete hot foiling process. Once the dies are heated and layered with the foil and cardstock, everything is run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, transferring the beautiful foil design onto the paper.
For her project, Peggy hot foiled the Garden Silhouette Die onto Blackberry Bliss Two-Tone Cardstock. The shine on that panel was absolutely gorgeous!
She then heat foiled butterflies from the Butterfly Flight Bundle, die cut them with the coordinating dies, and added them to the card. The combination of the rich Blackberry Bliss background with the soft pink foil and elegant butterflies was simply stunning.

Peggy’s work is always immaculate, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the evening learning from her and laughing together. It was such a special night for our team, and I’m grateful she shared her talent with us.

Last Thoughts
One of my favorite parts of being part of the Stampin’ Up! community is the friendships it has brought into my life. Peggy is incredibly talented, but she’s also wonderfully generous with her time, encouragement and creativity. I’m thankful she spent the evening with my team, and I know everyone who joined the call left feeling inspired to give hot foiling a try.
