Spread Some Christmas Cheer for PP321

Joanne James is hosting this week’s Paper Players color challenge – Mint Macaron, Emerald Envy and Real Red.  What a beautiful combination.  I initially thumbed through my Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper before realizing that paper is designed with Cherry Cobbler.  I could have argued for my “artistic license,” but I wanted to honor her selections.  I went with bold, graphic and simple.  Here’s my card: And here’s the banner for the challenge that…

Mom’s Ribbon Wreath

Earlier this week I shared my 3-D swap for our World Card Making Day event – it was a cute tag for a jar of hot cocoa.  Remember?  If not, you can see it here.  Today, I’m excited to share the ribbon wreath Mom made for the event.  Mom joined Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator so that she’d be able to attend the OnStage Live event last weekend.  What fun!  Since there’s no risk associated,…

This week’s Fab Friday Color Challenge – the 100th challenge!!! – was pulled right from the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper, the most Fall-themed stack of papers in Stampin’ Up!’s 2016 Holiday Catalog.  While I used the paper, I also took a Christmas-themed spin on the colors.  Here’s my card: And here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:Tips, Tricks and Reminders A Sweet Sentiment.  Or, should I say A Suite…

Christmas Joy and Warm Cocoa

I’ve always been fascinated with Mason Jar gifts – it feels so “back to basics.”  Cakes, cookies and cocoa are wonderful treats, but there’s something really cool about giving these in a way that allows the recipient to cook the ingredients when they are good-and-ready to enjoy them. The “mix-and-mingle” opening of our World Card Making Day event included a 3-D Holiday Gift idea.  We walked around the room, sharing what we made and ogling…
