A Memorial Day Parade of Cards and Colors

It’s Memorial Day weekend in the United States. Memorial Day weekend falls on the last Monday of May every year and is viewed as the unofficial kickoff to Summer. While we enjoy cookouts, picnics and outdoor events during this three-day weekend, it’s also a day to remember those who’ve died in military service to our country. Many families take vacation this weekend – this year, I’m returning from my extended vacation.

To get you in the mindset for today’s Memorial Day events, I’m focusing my post today on reds, whites and blues.
