A Clean and Simple Thank You Card: Part 2

On Saturday, I shared a clean and simple thank you card with you.  I was so happy to see how these images (from completely different stamp sets) paired so perfectly.  If you missed it, here’s the card I shared (you can click on the picture to see the original post): On Saturday morning, I delivered projects to my local stamp club – while our monthly meeting was scheduled a month ago, I didn’t plan that…

It’s Your Birthday for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop

I can’t begin to explain how happy I am to be surrounded by the amazing, talented, and fun stampers on my Stampin’ Up! team (InKing Royalty).  Many of my team members (not just those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our online community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group!  I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work…

Beautiful Ride for GDP023

Stampin’ Up!’s 2016 Occasions Catalog is filled to the brim with balloons – balloons can be found in the papers, punches and several stamp sets.  It’s odd to me, then, that I didn’t reach for any of those amazing products when I created my card for this week’s Balloon Theme at the Global Design Project.  Instead, I used the balloon basket from Celebrate Today in the Annual Catalog and created my own balloon with a…

Valentine’s Day Parade of Cards

Happy Valentine’s Day, my friends!  According to the calendar, today is the most important day of the year to do what we should be doing every other day of the year – love one another.  To celebrate this special day, I’ve orchestrated a parade of cards to show you how much I love you. [insert beating drum, blare of horns and the cheers of the crowd as the parade begins] Here’s my Valentine’s Day parade…

A Clean and Simple Thank You Card

For today’s clean and simple thank you card, I combined a new image with a sentiment that’s been around for a while.  I’ve never used either in a project – and they go together perfectly, so I’m excited to share them with you today.  Minimal coloring and a tiny bit of layering make this card easily reproducible.  Here’s my card: Tips, Tricks and Reminders The Images.  Do you recognize both images?  I love the sentiment…

Watercolor Wings for FMS223

The moment I saw Amy O’Neill’s sketch for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I knew exactly what I would make.  I sketched i out and was ready to go.  Then, I changed my mind.  Then I made a sweet Valentine’s Day card that looks nothing like what I originally thought I would make.  I guess what I’m trying to say is that Amy O’Neill inspired me to design three different cards.  Thanks, Amy!  Here’s…

Thanks for Being You for PPA287

Katy McGloin is the Featured Designer over at Pals Paper Arts this week, and she’s has chosen a wonderful combination of colors that’s sure to fill the gallery with gorgeous cards.  What’s not to love about Lost Lagoon, Old Olive and Calypso Coral?  My first instinct was to reach for the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper – I knew that at least two of these colors were in those gorgeous patterns – and I’m glad…

I Want You…

I’m just back from a five-day trip to Phoenix, Arizona.  From Wednesday to Sunday, I attended in a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator retreat and training hosted by my amazing friend, Lisa Pretto.  Not only was I there to soak in as much as I could from the huge pool of talent who also attended, but I shared an hour-and-a-half long presentation about ways to introduce an online component into your Stampin’ Up! business.  What an honor…

Born to be Loved

I’ve been sharing a lot of Valentine’s Day cards lately.  We’re getting close!  Today’s card features a sentiment from Groovy Love (a love-themed stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog), but I thought the sentiment would be perfect, too, for a baby card.  I also pulled in the [unexpected] It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack to create a sweet and simple backdrop for the card.  How sweet and simple is this card? Tips, Tricks…

Make a Wish for GDP022

Can you believe we are in week 22 for the Global Design Project?  GDP still feels so fresh and brand new – yet we are 22 weeks old.  How awesome!  I love that so many people are playing along with our challenges – the artistry is just amazing!  This week’s sketch leaves the playing field wide open – some panels, an object (doesn’t have to be a circle) and a band.  With so few objects,…
